Some pix from San Francisco so far...

After 3 miserable days haggling with the San Francisco DMV, I feel sour like old grape.  So, in order to avoid becoming an old crotchety lady, and remind myself why we came to San Francisco, I will post some happy pictures from my first few weeks here.

Swing on top of Bernal Heights Park:

This really is the most beautiful city in the country:

Stuff that makes me smile:

The Mission District is full of funky bars, although Radio Habana Social Club might be my favorite bar I've ever been in.  The small Cuban man on the left is the artist who designed the interior.

And then, to make it even better, a fab Cuban band that looked like it was straight out of Central Casting started playing.

So, I will continue to try to heart San Francisco, despite the fact that the DMV and SFMTA are sending a clear message that they don't want me here.

Trent Reznor: "My album...costs 10 bucks, or go F yourself"

I love this (super short) article about Trent Reznor's decision to sign with a major label:
http://consequenceofsound.net/2013/08/trent-reznor-speaks-on-value-of-music-it-costs-10-bucks-or-go-fuck-yourself/

"I’m not saying offering things for free or pay-what-you-can is wrong. I’m saying my personal feeling is that my album’s not a dime. It’s not a buck. I made it as well as I could, and it costs 10 bucks, or go fuck yourself." -Trent Reznor.

Preach it, brothaaa!
